Peyton is in his third year of musical theatre and is so excited to perform in Chicago! In previous years Peyton has been in Bye Bye Birdie and Legally Blonde, and does Lacrosse outside of school. He hopes you are able to come out and support the fine arts and enjoy the hard work put into the show by his cast and crew!
Katrina is thrilled to present the musical Chicago! She is so proud of the hard work and dedication put into it and hopes you enjoy the production! Katrina is in her second year of musical theatre, and was able to be a part of Bye Bye Birdie last year. Outside of theatre Katrina is in the school band and vocal ensemble, as well as taking up a couple of other hobbies.
Avery is a grade 11 student. This is her first musical at AHSFA and she is very excited to be a part of such a great project and looks forward to her future in the fine arts program. Hopefully she won’t be deathly sick next year for auditions!
In all 13 of the productions Saryn has been a part of, she has been blessed to play somebody of middle age. She’s so excited for this wonderful practice as she now enters her adult years. In her final year at this school she’s happy to say thank you and goodnight!

My name is Jaida Casey, I am 15 years old. This is my first year performing for The Alberta High School of Fine Arts. Being under those intense bright lights, becoming someone else, and portraying that character; humanizing the character, gives me peace of mind. I can escape my hecticness and just simply be something else. A few musical shows that I have been a part of consist of The Wizard Of Oz where I played the role of Dorothy, and then I was in the musical The Little Mermaid Jr. and I played the character Flounder.
Bella would like to take this opportunity to thank the theater groups who have helped foster her love of theater over the years. From Big Rock School and North of Broadway to Feather Pen FairytaleTheatre, she thanks you with ALL her heart.This may be her last production with AHSFA - but it won't be her last!
She dedicates this performance to her incredibly supportive family and friends. And to Callista. From one crazy flapper to another. This one's for YOU!
Clara is excited to return to musical theatre for her second year at FCHS. She is in grade eleven, spending the majority of her time doing arts programs throughout the school. Clara also enjoys playing guitar and greek food. She wants to thank her Grandmother for everything.
This is Jack's second year at AHSFA and his second production here. He is very excited to perform this year's production of Chicago, where he is playing the character of Harry. He hopes to put on a good show for the audience.
This is Nora's second musical production with AHSFA, and her first year as a cast member.
Cooper is an ambitious individual with a love for musical theater. He has done two past performances in the roles of Ursula (The Little Mermaid) and The Wicked Witch (The Wizard Of Oz). Cooper returns to theater this year as Fogarty in the production of Chicago. As Cooper explores his passion further he is excited to see what awaits him in the next few years.
This is Jenny’s first year in the AHSFA musical theater program after being a part of the vocal ensemble and drama classes for two years.
Jorgia is thrilled to make her debut as Annie in AHSFA’s production of Chicago. She has always been passionate about acting and drama. She took three years of musical theater classes with Alberta Dance Academy, where she honed her skills in singing, dancing, and acting. Jorgia hopes to pursue a career in theater, film, and television, and is overjoyed by the opportunity to play the role of Annie. She is grateful for the chance to work with such a talented cast and crew, and would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for their constant support and encouragement.
This is Vanessa's first year doing musical theater and she has already had so much fun. She joined because she was looking for a way to get out of her comfort zone and try something new and exciting. Chicago is her first musical that she has been involved in and she is having a pleasure being in the ensemble for this musical.
Nina Fenner is a grade 11 this year that plays the role of Juror and reporter. She was also a part of last year's production Bye Bye Birdie, where she played Suzie. She is so excited for Chicago because of the classy set, dazzling costumes and everything the cast and tech has done to make this show amazing.
Tayah Is an avid singer, songwriter, actress, and playwright. Tayah would like to thank directors, Ms. Kelly, and Mr. Ellis for giving her the space and opportunity to grow as a performer over the past few years. She is sad to be leaving at the end of the year, but is so incredibly grateful for AHSFAs theater program and its continuous impact on her life. Now sit back, relax, and all that jazz!
Josefina Gaggero is a grade 12 student who has a great passion for musical theater and can't wait for everyone to enjoy this year's performance of Chicago. Also don't forget “WWJD,” if you know you know and if you don't google is your friend.
Rachel is thrilled to be returning for this years musical “Chicago” where she plays Roxie Hart! Rachel has been involved in musical theatre for many years and has thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. In 2019 she had the honour of playing Wednesday Addams in Westmount Schools production of “The Addams Family” and ever since then she has been in multiple performances including last years production of “Bye Bye Birdie” where she played Kim Macafee. Rachel is incredibly honoured to be working with the cast and crew of Chicago and can’t wait to finish her journey at AHSFA as this is her senior year.
This is Maddie's first production with AHSFA.
This is Max’s fourth musical and third musical at AHSFA. He is very excited to be a part of this production and work with all the lovely people that are also part of it.
Natasha is a grade 10 two student who is very excited to be in there series production of Chicago. This is her fifth production that she's been in and she cannot wait for the next two years and the production that will come in the future. Natasha spends over 50% of her days on the stage and it's always willing to help and learn something new.
Sky Holt is a 10th grade student, who's part of this year's theater production, chicago.
She has always loved musical theater as she aspires to be an actress, and has always had a love for singing, and dancing. This production she is part of the ensemble, and participates in some numbers including They Both reached for the gun, Velma takes a stand, Finale, and the courtroom. She hope to continue this theater journey and get a main role in the future.
This is Nepenthe’s first time joining us in our yearly musical, and she can be found amongst other ensemble members throughout the show. Before this year, Nepenthe joined our Advanced Acting program in both grades 10 and 11, and quickly found a love for theatre in their stage managing role within the program both years. They, like many of our other students throughout the years, have been inspired to pursue theatre in their post-secondary courses, with plans to become a stage manager professionally someday. Nepenthe would like to thank and congratulate all of her fellow cast and crew members for continuing to foster such a welcoming environment both on and off stage, and for continuing to work so hard to keep theatre alive within our school and community.
Kaden Konkin is a grade 10 student who participates in this year’s high school production of “Chicago” as part of the ensemble. Kaden has participated similarly in his middle school’s productions “The Wizard of Oz” and “The Little Mermaid,” playing the roles of Hunk and Jetsam. Kaden enjoys the social aspect of musical theater and the community around it, and he likes the opportunity to meet all kinds of people working together to achieve the same goal.
Taylor is a grade 11 student at ahsfa. This is her second year of musical theater at the school. She is grateful to have the opportunity to pursue theater in high school and hopes to continue for her grade 12 year.
Simone is fifteen years old, and has been doing theatre since she was seven. She even switched school boards and came to AHSFA for their theatre program! She dreams of being a singer or Broadway actress after highschool, and writes third-person blurbs in her spare time.
Fletcher is a novice singer, actor and filmmaker. After being the Prop Master backstage for Bye Bye Birdie last year, he is thrilled to be on stage this year. Select credits include Robin Hood (As Friar Tuck), Sound Of Music (Ensemble) Harry Potter (As Harry Potter), and most recently I Heart My Coven (As Greg). Fletcher would like to thank his fellow cast members for their support and laughs but most importantly Ms. Kelly & Mr. Ellis for their hard work. Get ready to be Razzle Dazzled!
Skyla is a grade 10 student, new to ASFA. She has a passion for acting, singing, and dance. Some of her roles in previous productions include; The Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz; Scuttle in the Little Mermaid; as well as background roles in some TV productions. Skyla is excited to be part of the Chicago Production this year!
Lola Paul is a grade 11 student and is currently in her first year of musical theater at foothills composite high school. She is so excited to be apart of this year’s production. In her free time she loves hanging out with friends and family. She is so thankful for this amazing opportunity and is looking forward to seeing what next year's musical production will be.
Grace is a grade 11 student and played the role of Alice in last years musical of Bye Bye Birdie, and is playing the role of Reporter in this years musical of Chicago! Grace is in 5 musical numbers and she loves to mess around with her Tweddle Dee Eden Prince, even though they tend to get in trouble! Shes exited to add Chicago to her list of performances next!
Eden has been in many performances before, and excited to add Chicago to her list. She plays Mona, a merry murderess, and is in 8 of the musical numbers. She loves to joke around with her Dweedle Dumb, Grace Pavey, whilst adding to her long list of injuries in this performance and last years of Bye Bye Birdie.
Jocelyn is a grade 11 student in her second year of musical theater at the comp. She loves learning choreo and vocals with Mr. Ellis and Mrs. Kelly.
Taylor Smith is a grade 11 student that has years of vocal training as well as competitive dance behind her and Chicago is the second production she has been involved in. She is passionate about the program and enjoys all that it has to offer. She is thrilled to be in the production of Chicago!
Matthea is a brand new addition to the Foothills Comp theater program. She has a passion for theater and in the past has performed in some productions. This includes Matilda the Musical as Mrs. Phelps and Frozen as Elsa (though, she was sadly unable to perform this show due to Covid). She’s so grateful to be a part of this wonderful production and hopes that you all enjoy the show
This is Becky's first production with AHSFA.
Actor and singer. A band kid at heart and makes and collects little nick nacks in his free time. They came from Grande Prairie where he performed in musicals such as: Fiddler on the roof, Legally Blonde and Footloose the musical.
Nina loves musical theater with her whole heart and has seen over 70 live performances, even though she is only 16. She is so thankful to have been a dance captain this year and has immensely loved helping with every single musical number. She would like to give a huge shoutout to her cast mate Tayah (Velma Kelly) who has been the most amazing cast mate and has provided such a safe space for her. Her previous shows include Bye Bye Birdie, and How the Grinch stole Christmas. She would like to thank all audience members for supporting the show! Enjoy!
Jelena is so excited to be in this year’s musical, Chicago: The Musical! She was in Legally Blonde in grade ten, Bye Bye Birdie in grade eleven and is able to graduate this year and say that she was a part of one of her favorite musicals. She hopes everyone coming to see the show this year will have so much fun watching it!
As the final production at AHSFA that Arden will be a part of, they could not be more proud of the hard work that everyone involved has put in once again. As their final year of high school comes to an end, they would like to thank the cast members that have stood by them, their phenomenal directors, the crew that saves the day backstage, and the endless support from friends and family. Arden has never felt more understood and accepted than in this wonderful program and everything it has to offer for students
